Furthermore, those who support the idea of Out of Place Artifacts receive the stigmata of "preachers of foolish ideas that mix creationism with ancient aliens (ancient astronauts) theories, the cyclicality of civilizations, time travel, and parallel universes.

But we understand that acknowledging the existence of these artifacts means admitting the possibility of an alternative history. Thus, Paleolithic people could have possessed advanced knowledge of mathematics, geometry, topography, architecture, cartography, and metallurgy.
